Bio

Chloé Janssen holds a PhD in political sciences from the Vrije Universiteit Brussel. Her thesis dealt with the representation of intersectional identity groups in Brussels local elections, with a focus on gender and ethnic groups. Her research interests cover the participation and representation of women and ethnic minorities in politics, intersectionality, and the role of electoral systems. Her work has notably been published in Acta Politica, Journal of Elections, Public Opinion and Parties, and Politics.
