Bio

Stefan De Corte is trained as an urban geographer. As one of the co-founders of Cosmopolis (in 2000) he has been involved in urban studies and interdisciplinary research and teaching for more than fifteen years. He is an expert on the urban development of Brussels, where he engages in the public debate on the future of this city. Currently he is the academic coordinator of the 4CITIES Erasmus Mundus Master programme and coordinator of theBrussels Centre for Urban Studies. He is also Senior Editor Assistant of Brussels Studies and member of the administrative board of the Brussels Studies Institute.
