Coosemans Thierry
Bio
Thierry Coosemans obtained his PhD in Engineering Sciences from Ghent University in 2006. After several years in the industry, he became a member of the MOBI research team at the VUB, where he works now as the ‘Electric and Hybrid Vehicle’ team leader. He is currently involved in the scientific support for the Green Energy Park Zellik, Flanders Make and had an active role in the Living Labs Electric Vehicles Flanders. His main research interests are electric and hybrid propulsion systems, performances of electric-vehicle fleets under real-life conditions, including in a V2G perspective, as well as the development of CO2-neutral Local Energy Systems.
