This talk, first delivered at a public event hosted by London Metropolitan University, introduces Brearley’s experience joining in on the process of urban change over the past 30 years, presented as an adventure in 5 flavours.

The flavours include his time establishing the design and urban strategy practice East, his 12 years working alongside Richard Rogers on behalf of the Mayor of London, and his engagement in the urban industrial economy.
