Bio

Alexis Creten is a researcher in sociology at the Health and Society Research Institute (IRSS), UCLouvain. He developed his interest in urban issues during his master’s degree at ULB and after as a researcher at Université Saint-Louis – Bruxelles. Specifically, he has worked on issues related to Brussels’ pedestrian area in the city centre (“le piétonnier”), walkability and disabilities in commercial streets and the development of biking in Brussels. His current research interests at the IRSS focus on healthcare accessibility and social inequalities, including the Covid-19 vaccination campaign in Brussels.
