Mastari Laora
Bio
Laora Mastari obtained her master’s degree in Sociology at the Vrije Universiteit Brussel in June 2016. For her master thesis she performed an empirical quantitative study on interethnic interaction for youngsters of Moroccan and Turkish origin in Antwerp and Ghent. Since November 2016 she is working at the research group TOR as a PhD candidate and is involved as a researcher in the Youth Research Platform (JOP). Her PhD is about adolescents’ gender identity and gender attitudes. Her main research interests include research on ethnic minorities, cultural sociology, sociology of youth and sociology of education.
