Bio

With a multidisciplinary background in social sciences (UNIL – Switzerland), history (ULB – Brussels), and urban studies (UCLouvain), I conduct research at the intersection of the history of science and technology and political ecology. At the Université libre de Bruxelles (ULB), my work focuses on often overlooked or invisible spaces, such as underground water management infrastructures (Brusseau project, Co-create Innoviris), living soils (Super Terram project, Co-create Innoviris), and peripheral territories (New Ruralities project, Erasmus+).

I study the socio-environmental controversies sparked by large-scale technological projects, the forms of civic resistance they generate, and alternative modes of action and making, often inspired by low-tech practices. My approach is rooted in co-creative research methodologies, drawing on tools such as participatory mapping and storytelling through various media, including radio and graphic novels.

I am also a founding member of Calm-e, an independent collective dedicated to developing participatory research and co-design methods, aiming to build bridges between academia, local associations, and public administrations.

As a curator, I have designed several immersive and interactive exhibitions, including Oh! Ça ne coule pas de source, presented at La Fonderie, which was awarded the ULB Science Outreach Prize and the FNRS Wernaers Prize for science communication in 2022.
