Bio
Tina Van Rossem (1991) studied Sociology at the Vrije Universiteit Brussel, where she graduated in June 2013 with a MA dissertation on the impact of the divorce of adult children on the contact frequency with their parents. Since October 2013, she is connected to the demographic research group of the VUB, Interface Demography, and the History Department of the UGhent. She prepares a PhD in historical demography on the causes of the health penalty of the Brussels’ inhabitants between 1890 and 1910. The supervisors of the FWO-financed project ‘Bruxelles ma belle. Bruxelles mortelle. Mortality in Brussels at the turn of the twentieth century’ are Patrick Deboosere (VUB) and Isabelle Devos (UGhent).
