Rodriguez Loureiro Lucía

Bio

Lucía Rodríguez Loureiro is currently a PhD candidate in the research group Interface Demography (ID), at the Department of Sociology – Vrije Universiteit Brussel, under the supervision of Prof. Dr. Sylvie Gadeyne (ID-VUB) and Dr. Lidia Casas (UAntwerpen). She holds a Degree in Pharmacy from the University of Santiago de Compostela (Spain) and a Master in Public Health from the Pompeu Fabra University (Spain). Lucía has a background in social and environmental epidemiology. She currently works on the project « Green&Quiet Brussels?”, focusing on the analysis of the relationship between the residential living environment and health and mortality in Brussels and other urban areas in Belgium, and the role that socioeconomic and sociodemographic characteristics exert in this relationship.
